Every van build has a junk drawer of problems. Not the big structural ones — those get solved because they have to be, or the van doesn't function. These are the smaller annoyances. The ones you've lived with so long you've stopped noticing them as problems and started treating them as just... how vans are.
They're not. Most of them have a20-50 fixes that take less time than your morning coffee does to get cold.
The door that won't stay half-open. You know this one. You prop it, it slides, you kick it, you give up and leave it fully open even though you wanted airflow, not a wind tunnel. This Door Stop Kit installs in the roller track in about 15 minutes, no drilling, and gives your sliding door a fixed midway position that holds on inclines and in wind. Works across Transit, Sprinter, and Promaster.
The cracked bracket you've been meaning to deal with. Vibration finds every weak point in a van build eventually — a hairline crack in a mounting bracket, a bolt hole that's worn oblong, a plastic clip that's given up.JB Weld isn't glamorous, but it's the difference between a five-minute fix on the side of the road and a multi-day parts-ordering delay. Keep it in the van, not the garage.
The overhead cab space doing nothing. Sunglasses, chargers, snacks, the book someone's reading — all of it currently lives on the dash or the floor because there's no obvious home. This Headliner Shelf uses the OEM grab-bar and coat-hook hardware already in your Transit or Sprinter. No modifications, no cutting into the headliner.
The bare ceiling around your new shelf. Once you've added a shelf or console up front, the exposed factory plastic around it starts looking unfinished by comparison. This Hideaway Headliner Cover closes that gap for Sprinter builds — one of those details that costs very little and changes how "done" the whole cab looks.
Bugs getting in every time you crack a window for airflow. If you've ever done the math on "is the breeze worth the mosquito," the Sprinter Bug Screen removes the trade-off entirely — screened ventilation without the trade-off.
None of these are the flashy part of a van build. Nobody posts a build-tour video that opens with "and then I fixed my door stop." But collectively, these five fixes remove more daily friction than most of the expensive stuff builders save up for.
